Thunder Sunday

July 5 // 5 - 10 pm

Get ready for Thunder Sunday! Join us for an evening of music and food at Hueston Woods Lodge. DJ & Cook out from 5 - 10 pm and Fireworks at Dusk!

This event is presented by Touchstone Energy and Hueston Woods Lodge, with proud sponsorship from Butler Rural, US Hotel & Resort Management, and the Visitors Bureau of the Hueston Woods Region

Naturalist Programs

Join our park naturalist for guided hikes, meet and watch live animals, learn survival skills, and much more! Check out the Nature Programs link below to see what may be offered during your stay!

Nature Center

Open daily from 10am-4:30pm year-round, its interactive displays include the park’s history, geology, and Ohio’s native plants and animals. The nature center also has a Raptor Rehabilitation Program. On average, 50 injured birds of prey are accepted into the program a year. Nearly 50% of the birds are released back into the wild.
