Hueston Woods Lodge and Conference Center is open year-round.

The elevation is 900 feet above sea level.

Winter days are chilly with temperatures ranging from 15°to 30°F. Evenings are much colder staying in the single digits and teens, rarely dropping below 0°F. The early spring months are similar to winter with the same likelihood of storms.

The late spring temperatures rise to the 70°F's during the day, and evening temperatures drop to approximately 30°to 45°F.

The summer months bring long, hot days averaging 85°F, which is ideal weather to experience the many activities at Hueston Woods. Enjoy an summer evening stroll through the park, as night temperatures reside in 60°F's.

Fall brings a burst of brilliant color, and the early months are comfortably crisp with the day temperatures ranging from 60°to 70°F and evenings in the 50°F's.

Cell phone service is available for most providers; however, we can't guarantee the signal strength.

We currently have over 9,220 square feet of meeting space. This flexible meeting space provides the perfect venue for meetings of all sizes. Group gatherings of any kind are a natural choice for Hueston Woods Conference Center. Our conference center accommodates small personal gatherings to full-scale conferences, collaborating with today's multi-media needs. Hueston Woods also offers a unique setting for weddings and other special occasions. Our staff is experienced and available to assist you with planning an extraordinary day.

Hueston Woods State Park Lodge offers seven accessible lodge rooms (two with roll-in showers) and four accessible cabins.

Although we try to accommodate your requests for an early check-in, it's not always possible, depending on how full the lodge or cabins were the night before and how quickly our guests check out in the morning. Our reservation center will be happy to note a request for early check-in on your reservation; however, we cannot guarantee such requests. It's a good idea to call the lodge the evening before or the morning of your arrival to see if they can give you an idea of how early you can check in.

We're glad you want to linger at our park for a while, but we can't always allow you to linger in your room! As long as the lodge is not sold out and we do not need your room, an extra hour for check-out is allowed. We do ask you to be considerate of guests checking in behind you who don't want to wait for their room to be ready. Please check with the front desk the morning of your departure to see if a late check-out is possible.

The minimum age for reserving and/or checking in to any of our accommodations is 21 years old. A valid government-issued identification is required.

There are no park entrance fees to enter Hueston Woods State Park.

We offer reservations up to 12 months in advance of arrival.

Our current tax rate is 7.25% sales tax, a 6% bed tax, and a 3% beautification fee.

In partnership with Ohio Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Hotel and Resort Management, Inc. will assess a three percent beautification fee on all purchases at the lodge.

The monies collected are designated to be used for the continual improvement of the overall lodge and cabin accommodations, and recreation amenities only.

We do not offer a waitlist for reservations.

Cancellations do occur; however, they can occur at random with limited success in obtaining the dates and accommodations desired. If your first choice is not available, rather than scheduling your vacation around the possibility of a cancellation, we suggest checking alternate dates instead.

Cooking is not allowed in our guestrooms; however, we do allow cooking in our cabins which come with fully equipped kitchens.

We do offer high-speed wireless Internet.

Hueston Woods offers select cabins that are designated "pet friendly." Pet-friendly cabins can be reserved online. Pets are not permitted in any lodge rooms. Pets are also not permitted in any cabins that are not designated at "pet friendly." All assistance dogs for individuals with visual or hearing impairments or orthopedic challenges are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991.

Reservations are not required at The Smokehouse, but we highly recommend them to ensure your dining pleasure.
